Loved dealing with the owner and the front-end of the shop/sales, not so much the guys who came to install the granite. The Granite Shop has a great inventory, they cut the granite right in their facility and have a bunch of beautiful stone to choose from for countertops.
Ordered the granite, made a deposit and waited a few weeks for the install.
On the day of the install, the folks who came to put the granite in seemed like they didn't want to be there. They scolded us for not having the proper support on the cabinets/countertop after we ripped it out to provide stability to the new countertop. We were never told what we needed or given specific directions. We went to Home Depot to get some wood to install as a support on top of the cabinets and salvage the installation, but when we came back...they already figured something out, which was great, but then what was the big deal in the first place? It took them all of 3-5 minutes.
The installation went pretty smoothly, but they chipped a piece of the cabinets off in the process. They said they would fix it (probably a simple fix with some wood filler), but never did. So really 3-stars for the folks who did the install, but the countertop looks great and I'm happy with the product so far! Hopefully it will stand the test of time.

The installers were personable, professional and knowledgeable. There was a piece missing from the sink - Ann was on it and dropped it off at our home 40 minutes away! (She was able to see the countertop installed).
